We are super excited to welcome Heather to join us and can't wait to see what she will share with us.

Bio: 

In my spare time I work full time as a Emergency Nurse in a trauma center, otherwise I am a little bit of A Mixed Media Artist, Crafter, Scrapper, Gardener, Hosta Connoisseur and a mother all wrapped into one fun loving, energetic type A personality. I started my creative journey scrapbooking back in 2008 when my daughter was born and progressed into the world of mixed media world back in 2014, and continue to expand and explore techniques, products and various styles and modalities of art. I am grateful for this opportunity guest designing for Creative Inspiration and look forward to sharing some awesome projects and pages with you all!

Meet Our New Design Team Member!!!

We would like to welcome Jackie Plank to the Creative Inspiration Design Team! 

My name is Jackie and I have been scrapping for about 14 years.

I live in a little town in Ontario called Wallaceburg, with my husband of 45 years.  We are owned and operated by Jack our 13 year old Shih Tzu, Oliver a 4 year old male tabby, and Princess our grey female uncertain age tabby. All our animals are rescue animals and they are our world.

We have one daughter who has given us a wonderful son-in-law, and five fabulous grand-children… with a grand daughter-in-law in the near future.

I scrapbook for my BFF's daughter, she has 3 children although one of them is an adult now… but I still have many of his photos when he was much younger to scrap.  I also scrap for my niece who has two little boys.  So I have plenty of photos to scrap has they both continue to take photos has does my daughter.  I also still take photos of my fur babies so it is going to be many many years before I run out of photos. LOL

My scrapbooking style changes with each layout and each card.  I am one of those people who can't stand to see anything stay the same.  Everything has to be different... same thing goes for my home, I am always changing things around. LOL

I love to use different medias, stencils, nothing is safe around me.  My husband has started locking his tool box because he caught me going through it to see if I could find something interesting to use. (I stole a sheet of his sandpaper) 

I can go plain or I can go heavily loaded. I love trying new things too.

The one thing I can't do, is to start a layout without a sketch. Sometimes I go by the sketch exactly other times by the time I am done you would never know it was the same sketch.

I am happy to be a part of this DT and look forward to the next 6 months. 

 We look forward to having you join us and to playing along with your challenges!  

The Mini Crop Starts TODAY!!!

Well everyone, Hanukkah is in full swing.  Christmas is only 10 days away.  Which also means all the other holidays of this season begin soon as well!  Are you ready?  Do you still need to create some gift card holders or some last minute holiday cards?  Or maybe (like me) you have family members with birthdays between now and the end of the year...  Or possibly you just need to take a little time for yourself to just be creative!  I know it's quite good mental therapy for me!

Whatever it is you need, the Creative Inspiration Mini Crop can help!  From today until 11:59 PM Eastern time on December 24 (just before Santa arrives in the USA and Canada) you will have the opportunity to play along with the Design Team members who have created simple, easy challenges.  They are designed for you to be able to complete several projects in the time allotted.  So even if you're busier than Santa and his Elves are right now, you can still squeeze these projects into your time schedule!

Be sure to sign up and become a member - Tell the Admin that you were sent via the blog! And then check out all the challenges for the month here in the Creative Inspiration Forum.  Even though the Mini Crop has begun, you can still complete the regular monthly challenges!  Their deadline is 11:59 PM on December 31 - Just before Midnight on New Year's Eve!  :)

It's December and the 12 Days of Christmas challenges are done.  But don't worry!  Our daily challenges are in full swing and on the 15th we'll start our monthly mini crop.  So you've got lots of inspiration for your holiday challenges!

12 Days of Christmas along with Sunday Card Sketch and Monday Layout Sketch

Happy Holidays everyone!  Can you believe it's already December???!!!  Only a few more days left in 2017! There's always so much happening in December and I wanted to make sure you don't miss out on anything!  The Creative Inspirations Forum is hopping with inspiration and challenges!

First, don't forget to check out the latest Creative Inspirations Magazine!  You can find it HERE.  The team of designers come from all over the world and oh my goodness it's chock full of Christmas and Holiday inspiration!!!

Next, a reminder of our current 12 Days of Christmas challenges that are ongoing in the forum.
