Meet Our New Design Team Member!!!

We would like to welcome Jackie Plank to the Creative Inspiration Design Team! 

My name is Jackie and I have been scrapping for about 14 years.

I live in a little town in Ontario called Wallaceburg, with my husband of 45 years.  We are owned and operated by Jack our 13 year old Shih Tzu, Oliver a 4 year old male tabby, and Princess our grey female uncertain age tabby. All our animals are rescue animals and they are our world.

We have one daughter who has given us a wonderful son-in-law, and five fabulous grand-children… with a grand daughter-in-law in the near future.

I scrapbook for my BFF's daughter, she has 3 children although one of them is an adult now… but I still have many of his photos when he was much younger to scrap.  I also scrap for my niece who has two little boys.  So I have plenty of photos to scrap has they both continue to take photos has does my daughter.  I also still take photos of my fur babies so it is going to be many many years before I run out of photos. LOL

My scrapbooking style changes with each layout and each card.  I am one of those people who can't stand to see anything stay the same.  Everything has to be different... same thing goes for my home, I am always changing things around. LOL

I love to use different medias, stencils, nothing is safe around me.  My husband has started locking his tool box because he caught me going through it to see if I could find something interesting to use. (I stole a sheet of his sandpaper) 

I can go plain or I can go heavily loaded. I love trying new things too.

The one thing I can't do, is to start a layout without a sketch. Sometimes I go by the sketch exactly other times by the time I am done you would never know it was the same sketch.

I am happy to be a part of this DT and look forward to the next 6 months.
