One Sketch, Four Different Looks!

Hello there!  I'm Ginni Gass and I'm from the Turtle Soup Design Team.  I love sketches and if you’re anything like I used to be sometimes you’d look at a sketch and say “I really like it but I don’t have the pictures to match it.”  Well, one day someone told me “just turn it!”  So today I’m going to show you how turning a sketch 4 different directions can give you 4 completely different looks!   Any photo editing program will do this for you.  It's usually in the "Edit" section and you are looking for the "Rotate" tool or command.    I used a sketch by my dear friend Bev Code.  Here’s the Pinterest link to many of Bev's fabulous sketches and this is where I found the sketch I used below... So let's start with the original sketch I chose to use... I kept this page very simple. The picture is of my Granddaughter Molly with her Mom’s side of the family. I used buttons for my little circles.

The second page is turned 90 degrees to the right and is a picture of my Grandson Robert after he lost his first baby tooth.  I used Kreaxions Punch #906 Triangle with no template.  I used Close to My Heart (CTMH) letter stickers and inks to create my title.  I also used a CTMH arrow stamp at the top left.  I stamped the letters and then drew around them with a pen to make them stand out more…
The third page is turned 180 degrees and is a page about my Granddaughter Molly just a couple of days after she was born.  I used Kreaxions Punch #309 with no template to create the edges.  I used some of the cut-aways for photo corners.  I added bling to the corners and to the edges of the layout.
Finally the last page is turned 90 degrees to the left. This is a picture of my Grandson Noah who lost another tooth and was showing it off to his Mom.  Instead of a punch I just cut the triangles and used pens and ink to “decorate” the page…  The photo mat was white embossed cardstock that I inked with grey so it looks like polka dots.  I also inked white photo corners.

So as you can see, one sketch has MANY different applications!  You can also move elements around the page to fit your picture, take away elements, add other elements, etc.!  I hope you've been encouraged to experiment with your sketches from now on!  Happy Scrapping!!!
